Caregiver training is one of the most overlooked areas in ABA.

It's rarely taught during BCBA training, and in day-to-day practice it's often treated as an afterthought — something bolted onto care rather than built in. Yet the difference in outcomes between patients whose caregivers are actively involved in care and those whose families aren't is striking.

During the first session, Melissa will explain why caregiver training has historically been left out of ABA treatment plans and make the case for including caregiver training as a core part of a therapist's overall system of care.
